Caleb Cole joined the Colorado Christian men's soccer staff in February of 2020. On March 11th, 2024, Caleb was named the Head Women's Soccer Coach. In the summer of 2025, Cole was named the Director of soccer for both the men's and women's soccer programs. In his first season at the helm of the women's soccer program, Caleb guided his team to a strong season and their first RMAC Tournament appearance since 2018.
Cole came to the Cougars program after playing professional soccer and coached at Westmont College (Calif.).
Cole served as an assistant women's soccer coach at Westmont during the 2018 season before being elevated to the interim head coach during the early months of 2019. While at the NAIA school, he helped guide the Warriors to a 13-2-3 record and a berth in the conference title game.
As a player, he was a member of the Chattanooga Football Club. Cole helped the squad to the top spot in the NPSL Southeast Conference standings with a 7-2-1 record and a plus-18 goal differential.
He earned his bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Gordon College (MA) in 2017. As a student-athlete, he became the school's first three-time All-American. Cole captained the team for two seasons and helped the Fighting Scots to a 2015 conference title and a berth in the NCAA tournament.
After playing her first four years of collegiate soccer at UCCS, Sims decided to use her remaining eligibility to play her last season with the Cougars in 2023. Sims was able to play alongside her sister, Jessie, and cap off an amazing collegiate soccer career that included four All-RMAC nominations and two appearances in the NCAA Division II Tournament while at UCCS. She totaled six career goals and assists while tallying almost over 6,500 minutes as a midfielder.
She was named as the graduate assistant for the 2024 season, paired alongside first year head coach Caleb Cole. Priro to the 2025 season, Zoe was named the full time Assistant Coach for women's soccer.The teams familiarity with Sims' career and play created a culture and identity that resonated among the squad. Sims' analysis and film breakdown was key to game-prepping against opponents. Her five years of playing experience within the RMAC proved to be beneficial when it came to tactics and in-game adjustments due to her acquaintance with teams in conference assisting Coach Cole. Thus, leading to the success of the Cougars in conference play, helping the Cougars reach the RMAC Championships' for the first time since 2018. Considering this, Sims is possibly the greatest GA the women's soccer program has ever had.
Outside of soccer, she loves to go skiing and play pickleball with friends. Sims' post college dreams consist of working for a non-profit organization and starting a family. She is also known as an avid consumer of chocolate milk.
